Responsibilities
- Work as part of a cross functional team in an Agile environment
- Contribute to technical design including conceptual design, service contracts and tool selection
- Provide mentorship to teammates and promote continued learning
- Work closely with product owner to refine user stories
- Work to continuously advance your skill set
- Manage software risk, balance priorities and go above and beyond the call of duty
- Produce high quality code while selectively addressing technical debt
- Conduct root cause analysis on issues and defects to ensure they are addressed in the best way
Position Requirements
- 5+ years developing commercial-grade business applications demonstrating the following:
- Strong understanding of single-page applications and web fundamentals (HTML/DOM, HTTP, CSS, Bootstrap, page event model, etc)
- Thorough understanding of Javascript and jQuery fundamentals (scope, binding, events, linting, etc.)
- Expertise with Angular and AngularJS and the related component and directive architecture
- Proficiency in writing unit tests for Angular applications utilizing tools such as "karma/jasmine" and end-to-end tests tool such as "protractor"
- Knowledge of Node.js and NPM, as well as packaging and dependency management tools such as Bower, Require.js, Grunt, etc
- Experience with pre-processors such as LESS/SASS, Webpack module bundler
- Ability to translate UI/UX specs or mockups into working, styled components
- Thorough understanding of proper RESTful API design principles and experience working with “back end” teams who develop APIs
- Nice to have experience
- Experience with C# or related server-side languages and full stack experience
- Experience with continuous integration tools
