Summary

The Senior Software Developer works as part of a development team in the design of software applications. This position is also responsible for coding, developing and recommending process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Supports a cross-functional scrum team– ASP.NET, Front-end, QA/QE and Product.
  • Assumes technical responsibility for a family of systems; manages technical debt, identifies opportunities for improvement, and partners with system engineers to keep production systems scaling and performing exceptionally fast.
  • Actively contributes to the adoption of software architecture, best practices, and technologies.
  • Assumes senior level responsibility for the coding, architecture, and design of the team.
  • Designs and executes developing new enhancements for our products.
  • Mentors team members by providing career development goals, meeting regularly, writing and deliver semi-annual reviews, and advocating for their career advancement.
  • Recommends new processes and procedures to increase team productivity to upper management.
  • Leads by example and fosters a positive work environment.
  • Ensures confidentiality of internal and external data.
  • Performs ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • 4-8 years of experience in programming field

     Other Relevant Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science preferred
  • Mandarin language fluency preferred
