Job Description

You will be joining an engineering organization that will entrust you to design, develop, test, and maintain various portions of our applications with lots of autonomy while receiving guidance and feedback to help you grow. You will work with our full software stack along with our team of Front End, and Back End Engineers (possibly extending into iOS and Android) who along with you are responsible for providing innovative and disruptive solutions for our enterprise and public safety customers. This will include collaborating with teams and systems from other parts of the business for integration testing and working closely with product owners to elicit the critical requirements in abstract, nascent designs to ensure they are tested to the needs of our customers. You will be included in the on-call rotation for your primary agile team.

You will be the organizational lead providing test guidance and support for one to three Agile teams.

Preferred qualifications

• You have 3+ years’ experience building, designing, and maintaining the Automation Test Framework

• Experience in manual and automated RESTful API and web application testing

• Experience with tools and written scripts to manage continuous deployment and integration, monitor usage and troubleshooting 

• Experience with load and performance tests

• Experience with Cloud Services such as Azure, GCS, AWS (Azure preferred)

• Familiar with Azure pipeline, and scanning your code using Fortify (or similar)

• Familiarity with containerization, Kubernetes preferred

• You have outstanding technical problem-solving, design, and coding skills

• You can communicate effectively & persuasively, both in person and in the written form

• You are adaptable, collaborative, and love eliminating ambiguity by figuring things out

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
