Milyli is looking for a passionate, experienced Software Architect / Tech Lead to join our Software Consulting & Services team. We need a seasoned developer eager to lead a team and design elegant, high-quality solutions that solve business challenges for our clients. The right person must have strong technical knowledge along with exceptional communication and planning skills.

Your Responsibilities

• Working with Project Managers and clients to ensure a clear and shared understanding of project needs.
• Finding creative and effective design solutions based on client’s requirements
• Leading planning sessions with developers to break down solutions into defined, understandable components 
• Providing reliable estimates and regular status updates
• Seeking out and proofing new technologies and techniques to shape best practices
• Instructing and mentoring developers in both their day-to-day work and in their career growth
• Participating in company-wide developer forums
• Writing efficient, maintainable code you are proud of and helping your teammates do the same
• Helping support existing clients and applications

Your Qualifications

We seek someone who has:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience with the Microsoft technology stack, from the database to the web
• High levels of proficiency in the following technologies and principles:
• Microsoft .NET: C#, ASP.NET MVC
• HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, Typescript, Vue, Bootstrap
• SQL Server
• IIS
• Source control: Git, GitFlow, Semantic Git
• Continuous integration: Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps
• Object-oriented design and programming concepts: SOLID principles, Inversions of Control and Dependency Injection, Structure Map
• Unit and automated testing

Also someone with:

• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams
• Superior communication skills
• A genuine love of writing code, solving problems, reading about technology, and learning new things
