Description
Our team, responsible for the product development of Cat® MineStar™ Edge - enabling mining operations production planning, measuring, and optimizing, is looking for a Software Delivery Coordinator. The selected candidate leads and is responsible for 2-3 Agile software delivery teams, composed of 7-10 members located in North America. He/she will ensure the team collaborates with peer delivery teams to adopt, align, and improve the Agile development process to effectively manage workflow and deliver customer value in the most productive way. He/she is the technical contact, removing roadblocks for the team. He/she drives clarity on content, drives continuous improvement through simple metrics and retrospective action. He/she will also actively contribute to the software design, development, coding, and validation for the onboard applications.

Job Duties
Lead multiple Agile software delivery teams toward being self-managed and productive
Coordinate software development across these multiple Agile software delivery teams to deliver integrated software features
Establish strong partnership with peer development team in Australia and India to share knowledge, align on process, best practices and software infrastructure and DevOps
Drive clarity on content to effectively plan and deliver sprints and releases
Remove roadblocks for the team, voice gaps and needs to product owner and management
Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and simple metrics tracking
Provide technical coaching and development for team members
Participate in candidate and partner selection for the delivery team
Also participate in all aspects of the development activities as much as possible
Participate actively and communicate effectively with the global product development team which includes international partners
Help maintain and evolve the development and continuous integration environment: Azure DevOps, software production, tooling and quality assurance coding, automated testing, etc.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering (or equivalent) curriculum
Relevant engineering work experience required - 7-8 years with bachelor's degree or 3-4 years with master's degree
7+ years' experience in software development roles on complex embedded and/or web-based software systems
3+ years' experience as software team lead / delivery team facilitator in an Agile process context
Proven leadership skills, technical coaching; is structured and organized
Top Candidates will also have
Good communicator, driving clarity, representing team to stakeholders, product owner, management
Experience and interest in rapidly learning a new domain, new technologies and mastering complex architectural software
Available for different time zone conference calls (India or Australia)
Master's degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering (or equivalent) curriculum
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science curriculum
Occasionally available and authorized to travel to the United States, Central & South America to learn how our customers use our systems and participate in the installation and improvement of our products as well as for work sessions with our international CAT teams/partners
Project management experience
Experience with C++ software development on Linux embedded systems
Experience in WebUI development with Angular html5, Material Design, Open Layers, 3D with WebJL threeJS or Cesium
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with script languages such as Python
Experience with GPS, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, UDP/IP, SSL systems
Experience with Geographic Computer Systems (e.g. PostGis, GeoServer, ArcGIS, etc.)
Experience with Machine Learning
