DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in small, agile teams to design, prototype, and build new product offerings and enhance product and tools.
• Design new software web applications and support applications under development. Customize current web applications.
• Collaborate with Product Management to identify, prioritize and document detailed production requirements.
• Develop highly efficient and optimized APIs using Java and JSON/XML data formats.
• Perform API development within micro-services environment using Apigee and Swagger.
• Use MQTT to communicate with IoT devices.
• Use Angular JS, React JS, Redux and Firebase for web development.
• Implement and troubleshoot business logic in the database layer using stored procedures and triggers.
• Create automated unit test cases using JUnit and Postman.
• Work with internal Quality Assurance team on system, performance and acceptance testing.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Master’s degree in computer science or information systems and two (2) years of software development experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems and five (5) years of software development experience
