Job Description

We are looking for a Software Development Test Engineer (SDET) who is motivated in designing, architecting and executing highly reliable quality automation to ensure thorough test coverage, stability, predictability as well as performance tuning.  We are working on challenging problems that require bright minds and persistent engineers to solve. We are bringing the transportation industry to the cloud and looking for ways to leverage data analytics to provide additional value to our customers. It is a journey that will allow you to: 

• Define and oversee the overall automated testing strategy to support a DevOps model

• Continue to evolve the CICD testing pipeline to ensure enough test coverage from Development, Quality Assurance, and Operations.

• Drive to achieve our goal of fast delivery, and testing activities which must be integrated with the agile process and tasks for the sprint

• Drive upfront planning and documentation on automated test initiatives during sprints

• Determine and drive proper Key Quality Indicators (KQI)

• Help drive the performance of  applications including user interface, services layer, and data layer

• Confidently expressing GO or NO GO decisions with supporting reasons

• Must be able to grow their skills to match the new technologies, testing techniques and methodologies currently being used

Skills And Qualifications

We are looking for engineers with the following experience:

• Understanding of application design to help drive quality initiatives 

• Building, creating and maintaining highly functioning Test Frameworks

• Driving KQIs based on application performance & scalability 

• Executing and driving full stack quality initiatives

• Developing highly functioning, fully automated tests to validate quality at all levels

• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

• Worked in an engineering capacity on large scale projects to ensure the quality KQIs are met

• Experience with open source tools and resources

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
