As a DevOps Engineer at PartySlate you'll work on...

• The Infrastructure 

  • Managing and improving our Infrastructure As Code (Terraform)

  • Configure and optimize supporting AWS infrastructure (ECS, Redis, Redshift, etc)

  • Site Reliability and performance

• Observability and Monitoring (New Relic, Cloudwatch)

  • Monitor application performance and automate synthetic monitoring

  • Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering team to plan improvements

  • Manage log and data aggregation

• Our CI/CD Pipeline (Circle CI)

  • Manage and improve our CI/DP Pipeline

  • Collaborate with the team to manage our automated deployment and testing

  • Help build and maintain production, staging, integration and local development environments (Docker)

Requirements

Must Have:

• A strong interest in your own personal growth and development

• 1-10 years experience in DevOps, Software Development or similar (pay commensurate with experience)

• Experience with AWS offerings or relevant training and certifications

  • EC2 networking, networking security

  • Containerized infrastructure, Docker, ECS, Fargate

Nice To Have

• Experience with or knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Real User Monitoring (RUM), and Infrastructure monitoring.

• Experience with CI/CD Pipeline systems, tools and scripting

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (specifically Terraform)

• Knowledge of infrastructure change management best practices and ability to plan and communicate
