Why Is This Position Open?
• We are building a new development team to help drive a high priority project working with the US Government. 

What You Will Do:

• We need individuals who understand the ins and outs of an Object-Oriented language and can speak on their past experiences. You will be part of a new team that will help increase create efficiencies in an exciting application. The great thing about this position is that you will be cross-trained in all Scrum functions. 

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• 3-5+ years of Software Development Experience
• 3-5+ years of programming experience in an OO language
• 3-5+ years of relational database software development experience (SQL Server)
• Full-Stack software engineer with experience in an OO language (C# or Java), with high-performance applications
• Deliver projects that adhere to continuous delivery practices with:
  • Automated unit testing
  • Integration testing
  • Performance testing
  • Code/Peer Reviews
• Experience working in an Agile framework: SCRUM and Kanban
• The expectation is for hands-on design and coding
• Experience with a relational database such as SQL Server / Oracle

• Ability and Willingness to work across both Java and Microsoft based solutions
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Understand software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement

Must be comfortable and eager to perform all tasks to meet goals (refinement, creating stories, testing/automation, pairing, TDD, refactoring, communicating directly with PO, operations or client, supporting production implementations, etc.)
