The Pampered Chef, Ltd. seeks a Software Engineer at its facility located at One Pampered Chef Lane, Addison, IL 60101. The Software Engineer will mentor Jr. Developers & provide support during critical production outages. S/he will perform effective Code reviews to Improve quality. S/he will Implement architectural design patterns and refactor existing code and make it more scalable and performant. S/he will support timely code releases and provide support. S/he will develop and deploy systems in an iterative incremental agile development process. S/he will collaborate with a team of application engineers, architects and product visionaries to design prototype and build technology-driven Pampered Chef products and web applications that will serve the current and future needs of e-commerce.

REQS: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Agricultural Science or related and 3 years of work experience in web application development. Additionally, the applicant must have 3 years of professional experience with: 1) Building SaaS (Software as a Service) enterprise web applications using Spring JAVA/C#/Node.js, JavaScript, Ajax, AngularJS, Express.js, Mongo DB, HTML5 and SCSS; 2) Using SOAP, RESTful and JSON web services; 3) AWS cloud technologies EC2, S3, Route 53, Docker and Cloud formation scripts; 4) Continuous Integration and Deployments tools: Jenkins and bitbucket; 5) Writing unit, integration and e2e tests using Jasmine, Karma and protractor, and Mockito; and 6) Working with Agile software development.
