Making a difference
Do you have a high level of curiosity, a love for problem-solving, and ability to work effectively across multiple departments? All those skills will serve you well as you will be first line of support and triage for potential product defects; improving the response times to defect reporters, and ensuring the accuracy of the defect backlog. You will assist in testing defects after fixes are deployed as well as analysis and reporting on product quality. You will identify areas in the product where additional documentation and training could assist in lowering the number of submitted “invalid” defects.
Your daily life
Analyze, troubleshoot, and assess submitted product defect tickets, leveraging Product Management and Development teams to maintain SLAs.
Act as the liaison between Service, Product Management, and Development in defect ticket triage, and ultimate resolution.
Document product challenges and problem areas for future product enhancements.
Develop troubleshooting guides and FAQ resources to help limit the number of “Invalid” product defects.
Maintain accuracy and organization of the defect backlog.
Assist with compiling and writing internal release notes for the Service organization.
Analyze and report on product quality status.
Assist in creation of long-term strategic goals for maintaining product quality.
What you bring with you
Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or relevant field of study
Prior technology support role experience a plus
Ability to prioritize and change direction quickly
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across the organization
Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to drive for results
Curious
Scrappy
Ability to think from both a strategic and tactical perspective
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Risk and insurance industry experience a plus
