Successful candidates will have excellent HTML/CSS knowledge, a sound understanding of web standards and best practices, experience using content management systems and at least intermediate JavaScript knowledge. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, and who is equally comfortable working independently, or on a team.   What you’ll do The Web Developer is responsible for… Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: Work with content stakeholders across the globe to ensure timely and accurate publishing of content updates in accordance with brand editorial guidelines. Maintain a professional working relationship with business units and geographic contacts Serve as a content management system  subject matter expert for other content authors in the organization Continually monitors website for consistency and functionality and manage website architecture Works with other designers, developers and marketing resources in the creation and production of landing pages to support marketing campaigns. Help establish policies and procedures for content management and change approval process Ensure content is updated to reflect current campaigns and newly created assets. Maintains site code to support ongoing metrics capture, integrated with Google Analytics Proactively stay on top of the latest industry technologies and digital trends. Share knowledge with appropriate marketing team members Desired Skills & Experience Write, modify and troubleshoot HTML/CSS/JS code, either from scratch or through adaptation of existing software or framework packages to meet project requirements Ability to test code changes through cross-browser testing to identify and resolve technical issues Understanding of Responsive Web Design and ability to code using both responsive frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.) and JavaScript frameworks (Angular.js, react.js, etc.). Understanding of W3C standards as well as browser-specific bugs and variations, including Chrome, Safari, IE and Mozilla. Experience with web site performance analytics, SEM, and SEO Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience with a corporate Web property (Internet, Intranet, Extranet) Experience with the information architecture, page design, and usability testing within a web environment Familiarity with HP TeamSite content management system or similar web CMS Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced,constantly evolving work environment Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
