In this role: Do you have an appetite for keeping things secure, and a passion for cloud technology? Well then, this might be the role for you. Clearcover is on the lookout for a Sr. Cloud Security Engineer who can act as a trusted advisor for security-related questions, concerns, design, execution, and best practices. You’ll spend your days expertly developing, deploying, and operating the security mechanisms inside of our AWS infrastructure, actively participating in incident response activities, and fearlessly guiding/leading mitigation strategies for vulnerabilities. A successful Sr. Cloud Security Engineer will have a vast knowledge of security hardening standards and vulnerability trends on Linux servers/containers, a strong understanding of data protection mechanisms (including encryption), years of experience securing cloud IaaS offerings in AWS with comprehensive familiarity with container orchestration platforms. You should have a shift-left mindset for security, an appetite for DevSecOps built on cloud and automation, and be able to play a powerful role in the design and execution of the security operations, processes, procedures, and runbooks.
