Job Description:
As a Senior Engineer within Caterpillar Industrial Power Systems Division's aftertreatment team, you will be part of a cross-functional, high performing team and develop products that make our world cleaner by meeting new and existing emissions regulations. You will work with industry leading experts to direct and contribute to the concept, development, and design of complex emissions control components and systems. You will have the opportunity to work with a global team to deliver innovative emissions solution while strengthening your analytical skills and mastery of engineering concepts. You will contribute to the planning and delivery of projects, continually learn and stay abreast of innovative technology, mentor and coach team members, and broaden your professional network.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Lead DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) system technology development
• Design ownership of DEF system core components
• Organize and lead design activities to achieve time, cost, and quality targets
• Effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, team members, and process partners
• Investigate and resolve design issues impacting product quality
• Perform product maintenance

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science degree preferred in an accredited Engineering curriculum with 5+ years of experience in design or design integration
* Associates degree in related area will be considered with 7+ years of design experience
* Experience with Creo and teamcenter (or equivalent CAD tools)
* Strong analytical skills and project management skills
* Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks
Top Candidates Will Also Have:

• Aftertreatment design and/or performance experience
• Strong organization skills with attention to details
• Familiar / proficient with APQP, BIQ, FMEA, CPPD, CPI process, NPI process
• Understanding of FEA and CFD analytical validation
• Master degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering curriculum
