LearnCore is searching for a  is a Sr. Front-End Engineer to help build out responsive and fast UI's across browsers. You will be expected to take charge of this area of the product and own the work plans to execute with time and difficulty expectations as related to the future sprint. This is an individual contributor role, but as we grow, you could find yourself managing junior developers and QA staff.

Ideal candidates would be fast and proficient with:

HTML/HTML5

CSS3

Javascript

Javascript related languages (CoffeeScript)

Javascript frameworks (BackboneJS)

Front-end frameworks (Bootstrap 3)

Git

Even better candidates would be (not required):

Familiar with Scala

Familiar with the Play 2 Framework

Areas of responsibility encompass all frontend related work and include:

Building out and maintaining all frontend markup, css, and javascript

Implementing and maintaining a code pattern library

Management of front-end related tasks using Jira

Participation in evaluating/planning new feature requests

Ownership of cross-browser compatibility for all new/existing features

Maintaining and fixing frontend defects and bugs

REQUIREMENTS 

4+ years experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar degree

Significant experience in HTML/HTML5, CSS3, Javascript
