Description
As Technical Architect/Software Engineer, you will lead the technical design and contribute significantly to the development of our overall data and application platform.
Responsibilities:
- Significant ownership, design and implementation of end-to-end system spanning across devices, web/mobile applications, and cloud data platform
- Help to establish software dev cycle and quality control processes
- Coach and mentor technical leads and developers
- Help to establish and grow our software team and culture
Qualifications
Required:
- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Experience designing and developing cloud-based data ingestion and application hosting platforms
- Experience in greenfield design and technology assessment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure or similar public cloud platform (AWS, GCP)
- Deep understanding of modern architecture principles including serverless, microservices, RESTful, and containerization
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts as it relates to IoT and distributed systems
- Proficiency in Javascript, Java and Python
- Experience with Agile development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
Preferred:
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Advanced degree in computer science or further education certificates
- Experience with Node.JS, Hadoop ecosystem, Kafka, Kubernetes, and relational database systems
- Experience managing development teams through full product lifecycle
- Data science expertise including classical supervised and unsupervised ML approaches and deep neural networks
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and quality standards regarding software development (Design Controls, Risk Management, IEC 62304)
- Experience with time-series data storage and analytics
- Exposure to healthcare IT or medical devices, HIPAA, and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.)
- Experience with digital signal processing, embedded systems, and bio-signals analysis
