Description

As Technical Architect/Software Engineer, you will lead the technical design and contribute significantly to the development of our overall data and application platform.

Responsibilities:

• Significant ownership, design and implementation of end-to-end system spanning across devices, web/mobile applications, and cloud data platform
• Help to establish software dev cycle and quality control processes
• Coach and mentor technical leads and developers 
• Help to establish and grow our software team and culture

Qualifications

Required:

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Experience designing and developing cloud-based data ingestion and application hosting platforms
• Experience in greenfield design and technology assessment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure or similar public cloud platform (AWS, GCP)
• Deep understanding of modern architecture principles including serverless, microservices, RESTful, and containerization
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts as it relates to IoT and distributed systems
• Proficiency in Javascript, Java and Python
• Experience with Agile development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery

Preferred:

• 10+ years of software development experience 
• Advanced degree in computer science or further education certificates 
• Experience with Node.JS, Hadoop ecosystem, Kafka, Kubernetes, and relational database systems
• Experience managing development teams through full product lifecycle
• Data science expertise including classical supervised and unsupervised ML approaches and deep neural networks
• Familiarity with FDA regulations and quality standards regarding software development (Design Controls, Risk Management, IEC 62304)
• Experience with time-series data storage and analytics
• Exposure to healthcare IT or medical devices, HIPAA, and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.)
• Experience with digital signal processing, embedded systems, and bio-signals analysis
