cleverbridge is looking for a Technical Solutions Engineer to assist clients and internal stakeholders in integrating external systems with the cleverbridge platform. You will identify, assess, and construct custom solutions on behalf of clients. In this role you will gain a deep understanding of the cleverbridge platform to provide clients abilities beyond what the platform offers out of the box. This position will also provide an exciting opportunity to be an informal team leader, guiding junior team members along your journey.

This position reports to the Manager, Technical Solutions in our Chicago office.

Responsibilities

• Identify and improve team processes, including:
  • Platforms and technology – leveraging new technology to improve output and overall performance
  • Creating and maintaining documentation and data requirements
  • Implementing new standards to work simply and reduce time of implementation (Reporting project and campaign monitoring)
• Communicate process changes and improvements to internal teams; Gather team feedback and requirements.
• Maintain and optimize third-party platform integrations:
  • Monitoring of existing performance – API scripts, data feeds, SFTP connections, etc.
  • Maintaining connectivity and error logs
• Research and implement new third-party integrations
• Create unique integrations to give cleverbridge a competitive advantage
• Train and guide team members on Integration and API as well as PHP and other coding languages
• Own and organize the documentation of best practices for technical service delivery and technical documentation
• Provide development guidance on new Client campaigns based on requirements from delivery and sales teams.
• Provide development specific tasks and timelines to completion
• Fulfill client requirements by providing custom solution designs, advocating for the best solution for the client's needs

Skills/Requirements

• Knowledge of programming language:
  • PHP (5+ years’ experience required)
  • Nodejs
  • Python experience a plus
• SQL (Intermediate knowledge)
• Interest and ability to guide other team members
• Drive to come to holistic understanding of complex software solutions
• Ability to communicate technical topics in an understandable way
• Knack for tying business problems to technical solutions and understand technology value propositions
