What You'll Bring

5-7 years of professional experience with 3+ years of risk management, compliance, operational risk assessment, control analysis, compliance or operational testing and/or audit experience required.

Knowledge of regulatory or procedural compliance issues and the ability to apply them within an operations environment.

Certification as a compliance and/or audit professional, or the willingness to obtain certification.

Ability to work in and navigate a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.

Able to perform multiple tasks and determine when to escalate issues.

Strong analytical, logical, problem solving, consultative, communication, and decision-making and judgment skills.

Commitment to personal development, including an ability to learn quickly and adapt to business needs/priorities.

Ability to write formal plan documents, proposals, policies and procedures as well as routine reports and correspondence.

Impact You'll Make

With moderate supervision, this position is responsible for preparing and providing consolidated financial presentation for executive management team on a monthly and quarterly basis. This position requires strong organizational, communications, and management skills in a fast-paced with deadline driven environment. This position interacts with a wide range of management levels and cross-functional teams within TransUnion.

Lead the development, execution, management and ongoing improvement of the Compliance testing program.

Collaborate with business leaders and other risk control functions (i.e. Internal Audit and Third Party Risk Management) to ensure a common risk management language is established along with a coordinated common process and standards related to transactional testing and monitoring.

Conduct facilitated survey review sessions with the business lines and credibly challenge results, responses and documentation to ensure consistent application of risks are effectively managed.

Provide support and guidance to the company on efforts to monitor control effectiveness at the first and second line.

Communication

Develop, review and update internally designed awareness and training materials.

Design, develop, and prepare Compliance Testing reports and presentations for management

Create and disseminate to business and global compliance partners guidance related to:Training on tools and processes used to support the program

Conducting control validation testing

Documenting and communicating results

Create and disseminate communication materials used to communicate Compliance Testing components such as:Identifying risk

Risk prioritization

Control testing

Control effectiveness

Aligning risk appetite and risk tolerance to strategic objectives

Remediation and action plans

Reporting and metrics

Prepare high-quality documentation that is appropriate for its intended audience.

Efficiently and effectively, communicate and explain program goals and objectives.

Organize and facilitate meetings with employees of all levels across the company.

Prepare summary and detailed reports and metrics for management.

Analysis

Research and recommend to management new or enhanced solutions for improving existing or developing new Compliance Testing processes.

Maintain awareness of current best practices, industry standards, reference, data models and regulatory compliance to understand and evaluate potential areas of risk.

Teamwork

Work closely with internal team members to ensure enterprise-wide compliance testing goals are met.

Ensure that knowledge gained from efforts is documented, disseminated and understood.

Provide support to division and enterprise initiatives.
