What You'll Bring
Minimum 15 years of process consulting, technology, automation techniques or management strategy
Minimum 10 years of software engineering or equivalent resource management experience
Extensive experience with automation technology, Intelligent Automation market landscape, strategy development and implementation
Experience in managing large project teams and setting culture and direction
Strategy consulting, project management and critical thinking
Direct revenue responsibility for a P & L organization a plus
Impact You'll Make
Development of automation strategy for global enterprise
Automation program management and development of Center of Excellence
Management of all enterprise automation use cases
Executive reporting, communications and presentations in support of Automation initiative
Management of key stakeholders and automation customers across the company
Process analysis and improvement expertise
Solicitation of new business units to automate and growth of the savings from automation
Management of automation team and resources dedicated to the initiative
Championing of product enhancements based on Customer and User feedback
Subject matter expert on automation techniques
Continued expansion of automation capabilities as per market trends and feasibility
The purpose of this position is to develop and scale the automation capability within TransUnion. Opportunities for automation exist within every business unit and every TransUnion region around the globe. TransUnion is seeking to deploy a full-scale set of automation capabilities and techniques to meet this opportunity. In order to fully establish this capability and allow for future scale and growth, TransUnion is looking for a leadership role to drive this effort.
The role will be responsible for developing an automation strategy, structuring a CoE team to drive and implement the strategy, and support the capability ongoing. The role will be responsible for creating the intake, development, and maintenance processes to support the automation use cases. Additionally, the role will require interaction, reporting, and negotiation with several senior leaders across the business. This role will be responsible for advocating and selling the capability, as well as determining priority for implementation. In addition, the role will be responsible for staying current on market trends, major players and offerings in the market, and recommending a perspective to TransUnion on how to grow the capability.
In addition, this role will require significant involvement in process improvement and readiness for automation. Not every process should be automated “as-is”. In order to generate the most value from automation, processes need to be optimized and extended across teams before automation. This role will require process efficiency and improvement skills in order to work with businesses prior to automation.
