Job Summary:
This role reports directly to the EVP & CFO, and will partner closely with the CFO's Chief of Staff (CoS). A successful incumbent is expected to enhance knowledge, process, reports & tools used by the Finance function used to support key finance objectives & goals. Ensure processes reports & tools apply consistent design elements & follow consistent methodologies. Create materials and deploy training as directed by the CoS and CFO on key Company financial metrics, reports & processes. Manage agenda and track outcomes of Finance Leadership Team meetings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research and identify best-in class reporting methodologies, tools, and templates for use by the Finance team; create and provide resources and training to ensure consistent adoption and high-quality output from Finance
- Curate a repository of finance-related content to be used by the broader Finance team to enhance reporting capabilities, such as: templates used for financial components of the Company's strategic plan and (ii) annual budget templates used to consolidate business unit financials for the Company
- Create and provide style guides to be utilized by Finance team in the creation of local reporting and template creation. Maintain guides & documentation in content library
- Develop and enforce guidelines on the use of process quality control mechanisms within assigned areas of reporting & templates. For example, promulgate requirements of key spreadsheet control mechanisms
- Create materials and deploy training as directed by the CoS and CFO on key Company financial metrics, reports & processes
- Manage agenda and coordinate the development of materials for the annual Global Finance Conference
- Manage agenda and coordinate the development of the quarterly Finance Townhall meeting
- Partner with Finance peers to develop tools for effective & timely on-boarding new Finance employees
- Provide a bridge for communication and coordination between the CFO and other C-Suite employees and support staff for complex logistical assistance
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
- Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential. • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or equivalent skillset developed through relevant finance/business experience
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Finance and/or operations supporting C-Suite leaders agendas
- Designing and delivering tools, presentations & financial process controls
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of project management and creating presentations/board decks
- Strong knowledge of prioritizing C-Suite deliverables and managing cross functional requirements
- Working knowledge using financial systems, including ERP, data warehouse queries, planning and reporting tools, Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point (ThinkCell)
- Good communication skills
- Creating & delivering professional development & training materials (Preferred)
