Target Data Inc is looking to recruit and hire Accounting Analyst/Accountant with good analytical, accounting, quantitative and finance operations experience.  This individual will provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting & reporting tasks.

The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to support all aspects of the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the firm.  Importantly, the candidate will be an active member of the operations team, working seamlessly with the sales and operational professionals to meet the needs of the organization. The prior experience dealing with the accounting /finance matters in the e-commerce & marketing fields will be helpful. 

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to supporting the VP Finance/Controller function with the following:

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
• Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue
• Maintain and record fixed assets 
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements 
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and complete
• Support preparation weekly/monthly reports (cash forecast, budget to actuals recon, etc.)
• Support all business development initiatives as deemed appropriate
• Perform other tasks as assigned firm’s management  

Requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance
• Minimum of 3+ years business experience including at least 1-2 years of prior accounting/reporting experience 
• Strong financial modeling skills 
• Advance level Excel skills 
• Proficient in QuickBooks and/or similar accounting software/ERP packages including MS Office
• Operating accounting experience dealing with US GAAP and accounting policy matters, strongly preferred 
• Prior experience in e-commerce & marketing, preferred
• Strong work ethic and drive and an ability to multi-task
