Accounting Associate

As the Accounting Associate at PEAK6, you will be a part of exploring fresh ideas that may benefit our financial services and trading businesses, and our investment companies. Working in finance at PEAK6 means you’ll be collaborating with some of the sharpest minds in the investment and financial industries, and that you’ll always be presented with a variety of new possibilities.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and implementing “Phase 2” projects in the ERP system
- Developing and integrating Finance processes across businesses throughout the organization
- Identifying operational process improvements
- Analyzing, understanding and reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Preparing monthly & annual reconciliations
- Working closely with Finance Departments to ensure data integrity and implement new solutions
You’ll gain loads of experience in this role but before you do, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA
- 2-5 years of experience in Accounting
- Strong analytical ability and motivation to solve problems
- Proficient in excel
- Experience with GL systems, NetSuite is a plus
