Accounts Payable Clerk

About the role:
Enova is currently searching for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting team. The Accounts Payable Clerk provides assistance to help ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices. This individual will be the primary point of contact for Enova employees as well as external vendors for matters regarding invoicing and payment.
What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for accurate coding of vendor invoices into the accounting system. This includes invoice coding as well as reviewing draft invoices from the automation tool.
- Correspond with vendors and internal business partners regarding payment status and other inquiries
- Accurately input suppliers into the Accounts Payable system, ensuring proper compliance. Work with Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure proper coding rules are set up for all new suppliers
- Process check requests, customer refunds, and vendor commission payments in Workday Financials
- Maintaining Prepaid schedules and adjustments
- Preparing fixed asset reports and entries. Maintaining accurate records of fixed assets for the month end process.
- Prepare reconciliations for specific cash accounts.
- Review and correct employee expense report coding. Perform monthly audits to ensure compliance with the expense reimbursement policy.
Perform other related duties or ad hoc projects within the scope of responsibilities
We're excited about you if you have:
- Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong computer skills, including keyboarding and proficiency in MS Excel and Word
- Ability to take initiative, work autonomously and handle multiple demands
- Strong operational focus and desire to improve processes and find value added solutions
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks in an environment of changing priorities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and professionally to internal and external customers
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Workday Financials is a preferred
