Dynamics of the Role 

 

Excellent opportunity to join a fast paced and dynamic Accounting and Finance team as a key contributor within our Corporate FP&A group.  Working with Consolidated financials you will collaborate with all of our segment finance and accounting teams as well as provide functional support for related systems.  This role will allow you to gain exposure to senior and executive leadership.

 

The Team’s Focus

 

The Corporate FP&A team supports and collaborates with to all of the segment finance and accounting teams at Transunion as well as support the CFO and his leadership team.  The team oversees and manages many functions related to monthly, quarterly and forecast reporting packages.

 

 

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working in a finance role
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Effective delegation and prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to apply innovative approaches and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment as well as individually
  • Advanced experience with MS Office Suite (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Advanced experience with Hyperion Planning/Essbase

We’d love to see: 

  • Proficient in Hyperion Project Financial Planning a plus
  • Proficient in Hyperion Strategic Finance a plus
  • Proficient in PeopleSoft a plus
  • Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Forecasting experience a plus

 

Impact You'll Make: 

 

  • Assist and prepare consolidated financial presentation(s) on a monthly / quarterly basis (i.e. monthly presentation, forecast presentation, capital reporting, and headcount reporting)
  • Create and maintain consolidated financial reports monthly / quarterly basis
  • Analyze and prepare financial variance analysis at the consolidated level for executive management on a monthly / quarterly basis
  • Provide functional support to forecasting, annual budget, capital and strategic planning systems and processes
  • Assist / prepare ad-hoc consolidated financial information and/or reports requested by executive management
  • Prepare / support finance leadership presentation materials
