What You'll Bring:
- 1 year experience preferably in an A/R function.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel. PeopleSoft experience is a plus.
- Must have good organizational, oral/written communication skills and detail oriented.
- Must also exhibit strong analytical skills, at a summary and detailed level, as well as strong time management abilities.
- Must be able to manage and ensure completion of a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.Associates degree in business or college level accounting courses is preferred.
Impact You'll Make:
- In the first 90 days - Familiarize yourself with the Shared Service Policies and Procedures for A/R and Peoplesoft System.
- Beyond 90 days – Communicate with sales on sales credits and customer issues. Work with shared service accounting team to reconcile cash issues for month-end.
- Analyze data to drive process improvements and transaction efficiencies.
- Work with auditors on documentation requests.
- Ensure miscellaneous cash receipts are deposited timely and assigned to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
- Investigate misapplication of cash, overpayments and on account dollars to ensure proper reconciliation.
- Monitor workflow queue and email requests to ensure timely reconciliation of adjustments that are received from the sales and account management teams.
- Research and follow-up on bank deposit errors and checks credited to the A/R system in error.
