Consumer Loan Quality Assurance Specialist

What will your day look like?
You will assist the Indirect Lending team with all activities involved in the quality assurance checks, verifying disbursement, and assisting in processing of indirect and other Alliant purchased loans. Work involves moderate difficulty in reviewing loan files and documentation for accuracy and acceptance. Resources to do the job require the ability to analyze and interpret loan documents and credit information.
Responsibilities

- Audit all new member accounts received through indirect lending, ensuring that all proper documentation is in place, and utilizing appropriate member identification procedures
- Analyzing and auditing loan files to ensure that all loan requirements are met and loan documentation is accurate and complete
- Responsible for loan disbursement
- Analyzes and makes final funding decisions on all consumer loans received through various lending platforms provided by Alliant’s indirect lending relationships
- Makes appropriate decision on adequacy of documentation and communicates clearly with vendor partners to correct errors or oversights, as well as unwinding indirect loans
- Run various reports to ensure accuracy of loans as well as proper record retention of loan documents in Alliant’s imaging warehouse Test lending systems for system integrity after systems upgrades
- Makes recommendations to Consumer Lending management on loan documentation outside of Quality Assurance Specialist authority
- Fosters strong working relationship with indirect vending partners as well as Alliant’s indirect account executives
- Implement process improvements and efficiencies and identifies volume issues and concerns with dealer or program communicator
- Acts as backup to direct lending loan closing activities on an as needed basis
Qualifications

You’ll be a great fit if in addition to the completion of High School degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree, preferred, and you have:
- Previous experience in indirect vehicle lending with specific focus on recreational vehicle and automobile financing preferred.
- Strong organizational, technical, analytical and decision making skills.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills in a high volume, fast paced environment are required.
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Web Based systems, Excel)
- Availability to work Saturday rotation
