CreditNinja is seeking an experienced senior accounting professional who will be responsible for owning and leading the entire accounting function including financial reporting, ensuring financial compliance, and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all accounting functions are performed in an accurate, complete, and timely manner in accordance with GAAP
• Direct and oversee general accounting activities including monthly close, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP as well as corporate policies and procedures
• Manage financial reporting to equity investors and warehouse debt providers
• Oversee the coordination of the annual external audit and tax filings
• Analyze and dissect financial and performance data, highlighting trends and developing KPIs to measure the company’s performance
• Monitor cash flow and burn rate

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 10+ years of accounting experience, including experience in a supervisory role
• CPA required
• Experience working in specialty finance required
• Strong analytical skills and expert knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in consumer lending/FinTech a plus
• Experience with QuickBooks a plus
