We are looking for a Corporate Development Associate to help drive the most important projects our company is working on! You will be working with leadership across the entire business to ensure M&A projects are delivered successfully. You will report directly to the Director of Corporate Development and will have a key role in the success of project44!

The Corporate Development Associate will drive critical M&A projects, with an emphasis on post-merger integrations. This role is directly responsible for organizing and executing impactful, cross-functional, enterprise-wide M&A initiatives and fostering a mindset that values outcomes over activities. You’ll act as the right-hand individual to our Director of Corporate Development with a unique opportunity to have a front row seat and directly impact companywide initiatives and business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Organize and drive M&A integrations to successful completion while providing visibility to key stakeholders
• Ensure that all project goals align with strategic objectives, and all team members have a clear understanding of project goals throughout the entire project life cycle
• Set the standards for communications and reporting, monitor and provide feedback on communications between teams
• Provide administrative support as well as identify risks, issues, challenges and opportunities that may affect the project deliverables and timeline
• Build strong relationships across the organization to enable collaboration and an ability to solve complex problems when necessary
• Development of presentations
• Development of KPI tracking tools and processes
• Provide continuous improvement through analysis, process improvement, metrics reporting and program maturity tracking
• Document all project artifacts and ensure that they are complete, organized, stored appropriately and shared with project members

Qualifications and Preferred Skills 

• 2+ years of experience organizing and driving large, complex technology projects across multiple functions
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (Accounting, Finance, Econ)
• Experience working in strategy consulting, PE/VC, or fast-growth technology company, strongly preferred
• Experience with freight logistics, preferred
• Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines and strong attention to detail
• Ability to drive projects to successful completion
• Ability to be strategic and roll up your sleeves to accomplish what needs to be done
• Strong and precise communication, being comfortable with presenting to executives
• Ability to thrive in a highly impactful roll in a hypergrowth company
• Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
• Handle confidential information with high levels of discretion
