Enova is currently searching for a bright, energetic and ambitious Finance Manager for New Initiatives to join our team; creative problem solvers, self-directors and action-oriented thinkers are required. Candidates will be expected to hit the ground running learning the industry, company and analytical techniques to enable them to contribute to the continued success of the company. The ideal candidate is a skillful collaborator, thriving in a fast-paced, innovative environment, who will be expected to partner across the organization at all levels on key strategic projects and analyses, driving business insights, executing on key deliverables for the company. This is a broad and demanding role perfect for finance and strategy professionals with a diverse background looking for a new and exciting challenge.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in Corporate Development, Business Development and P&L leadership to help define and lead new initiative evaluation for Enova.
- Develop and share deep market insights and high-impact analyses about relevant industry trends, new product opportunities, and potential market expansions to provide strategic and analytical support to prioritize key investments and opportunities.
- Define success metrics for key initiatives and crystallize key insights on business performance when initiatives are launched
- Develop and prepare periodic business unit and corporate forecasts and management reports, and draw insights used to drive executive decision making in conjunction with P&L and company leaders
- Author and deliver impactful presentations, distilling complex ideas and opportunities into actionable insights
- Manage, mentor and lead staff members of your Finance team
You’re right for this job if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics required from a top undergraduate program, or related experience
- Demonstrated history of academic excellence with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- 4 to 8 years in a consulting, ‘Big Four’ public accounting, company finance, investment banking or finance rotational program
- Exposure to the lending industry preferred
- Motivated, results-oriented self-starter comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced structured thinking, problem solving and issue resolution skills.
- Outstanding analytical problem solving skills with to accommodate evolving business needs
- Embraces ownership and accountability of assignments, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and competing priorities, with attention to detail and ability to follow projects through to completion. Flexibility and poise to pivot when organizational priorities change.
- Ability to influence and communicate successfully at all levels of the organization, synthesizing insights and conclusions into organized and impactful communications to senior management
- Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and project management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SQL query experience a plus
- Certification or progress toward MBA, CFA or CPA a plus, but not required
