MoLo Solutions is seeking a Finance Operations individual to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial-related tasks. The responsibilities include but are not limited to processing accounts payable transactions, preparing customer billing, logging payments and disbursements, communicating with vendors, maintaining vendor and customer files, and keeping financial systems updated.
The individual will support the Finance and Operations team by processing and updating records within and outside of the transportation management software. Reviewing transactions for accuracy and ensuring that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the finance department
- Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records
- Prepare, organize, and maintain accounting documents and records
- Prepare, record and make bank deposits
- Responsible for timely entry of accounts payable transactions, billing preparation, application of customer payments and vendor disbursements
- Support team with maintenance of various reporting
Qualifications & Skills
- Associates Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook and Accounting software
- A self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced office setting
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures
- Organization, accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong phone presence and ability to gather data from external sources
