Financial Analyst - Sales

Tempus is looking for a hardworking, ambitious Financial Analyst - Sales to support its growing operations in Chicago. This role will serve as the liaison between the Company’s various sales functions and the finance department.
Job Duties:
- Work directly with leaders across sales / product organization to forecast revenue across multiple business units
- Develop and manage reporting of KPIs and progress to monthly and quarterly goals to senior leadership
- Track and review sales contracts / agreements
- Oversee commission process for sales teams across business units
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and critical thinking that can solve problems and make recommendations based on self-directed work effort
- Lead ad hoc requests and special projects for senior leadership as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3-4 years of experience in Finance (corporate finance, consulting/banking, or rotational program experience preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel (macros, pivots, lookups), Tableau, Access, SQL and/or VBA
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a rapidly-growing company
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
- Strong problem solving, strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data
- Results-oriented, highly energetic, dynamic individual with hands-on mentality
