Financial Transaction Services Analyst

Responsibilities
The Financial Transaction Services Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical, data management, and value added support for pricing programs related to a specific product category (e.g. food, packaging, premiums, etc.). The Analyst in this role will work closely with key stakeholders including supply chain, suppliers, distribution centers, and internal teams to manage and maintain lines of supply for assigned product categories. Additional responsibilities:
- Collect and maintain cost information relative to assigned product category
- Work closely with the suppliers and customer to ensure information received is complete, accurate, and timely
- Maintain accurate pricing and supply line data in JD Edwards including: item, price, late rates, purchasing relationship, and min/max order quantities
- Gather and communicate information within the organization, primarily with internal Procurement, Promotions Management, Account Management, IT, Customer Service, Logistics, A/P, A/R, and others within Finance
- Analyze, research, and respond to pricing discrepancies and notify appropriate parties of action taken or needed prior to submittal for processing
- Analyze gross margin results on a monthly basis for assigned product categories
- Recommend changes in pricing to management to achieve targeted margin results by category
- Communicate and present analysis of pricing information to the appropriate customers
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Logistics, or related field; or equivalent work experience
1+ year of logistics or pricing experience
Proficiency with an ERP, preferably JD Edwards distribution and finance modules
Strong attention to detail and effective project management and problem solving skills
Strong project management skills
Demonstrated self-starter
