Company Description

The Global Business Transformation leader is responsible for forming strategy and initiatives of business process, digital, technology and organizational transformation to drive organizational value optimization, efficiency, effectiveness and cost reduction in finance, and other support and operational functions. There is a particular focus on transformations to support finance, but also change initiatives will occur through the organization. The role includes leading collaboration, change management, innovation and adoption for successful business transformation initiatives to ensure significant value is achieved. This role will also be required to successfully build credible partnerships across business functions, stakeholders and Information Technology (IT) to achieve intended value propositions of strategic initiatives.

The scope of Business Transformation is broad, cross functional and throughout all levels of the organization and required to define priority opportunities with high level of organizational impact within manageable levels of investment that generates an optimal return on investment. The role includes the management of risk and driving opportunities to identify change initiatives ensuring compliance risks are addressed and mitigated.

The Transformation lead will be required to quickly understand the depth and breadth of internal organizational functions and processes but also scan external ecosystems to identify current technology, resources or vendors that are viable partners to compliment, innovate and add value to strategic initiatives.

The Transformation lead will drive program and project management for initiatives developing strategic plans, assembling cross functional resourcing, engaging with external vendors as necessary, managing communications and change management plans, building complex project plans and executing with low cost, efficiency and high adoption and success.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee, direct, and organize the project work within the context of cross functional project teams supporting initiatives.

· Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement and innovation that values learning and a commitment to quality.

· Lead Global Transformation initiatives for Corporate Finance, including but not limited to, leading the implementation for FP&A Forecasting and Planning (SAC), CRM MS Dynamics transition from Salesforce, MS PowerBI adoption and other workflow efficiencies.

· Create and drive an effective Project Management process to inform Executive leadership of the status and general tollgates, decision making, and escalation as required.

· Lead a dedicated team made up of both process subject matter experts and regional leads to drive Finance Transformation agenda.

· Coordinate and manage the progress and plans across 4 broader workstreams and 30 initiatives to ensure each project is progressing towards objectives which includes liaising across 2 big countries (US & China) and 4 other regions (APAC/EU/Latam/AME).

· Process map and clarify ownership/swim lanes in a current and future state environment for each key workstream in areas of Accounting (Order to Cash/Record to Report) and FP&A (delineate work scope vs. Business & Accounting activities).

· Work closely with other members of the finance team to create dashboards, drive efficiencies and simplification across the revenue processes in Accounting and FP&A teams.

· Be part of NIQ-wide project teams regarding the implementation of global systems which have financial implications upstream and downstream.

· Improve or build new end-to-end processes which have positive, productivity impacts to Finance teams.

· Communicate and coordinate regularly with all impacted teams.

· Challenge senior regional Finance and business leaders to get their buy in against new process & systems visions.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and minimum of 10 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role

· 3-5 years’ experience in a global finance transformation role

· 2-3 years of management experience

· Experience working in a large, multi-national organization

· Deep experience with SAP ERM & Analytics tools (SAC), Microsoft Business Intelligence software (PowerBI), MS Dynamics CRM

· Process mapping experience

· Working knowledge of USGAAP
