Investment Operations Manager

The Role: The Investment Management group seeks an operations manager. As an operations manager you will manage an operations team and will be responsible for executing operations work across the organization, with a focus on creating a highly collaborative culture of accountability, accuracy, efficiency, measurement, and transparency. This position is based in our Chicago office.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute operations processes in support of the US Managed Portfolios service including:
- Account billing and fee payouts
- Monthly and quarterly production
- Account statements
- Asset reporting
- Account maintenance
• Drive process automation through robotic process automation (RPA)
• Establish, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Lead and mentor team members and support career growth and continuous learning
• Collaborate with and coordinate work across other functional areas in Investment Management
• Maintain exemplary working relationships with custodians, vendor partners, home offices, and advisors
Requirements:
• 7+ years’ experience in investment operations roles, TAMP subject matter expertise is a plus
• A self-starter with excellent leadership, communication, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills along with excellent attention to detail and accuracy; the highest ethical standards are expected in this role
• Ability to pull back from daily tasks to assess processes and workflows and identify areas of improvement
• A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is a plus
• A FINRA Series 65 qualification is considered a plus
