What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or one of the hard sciences
2-5 years of post-undergraduate experience with a strong record of accomplishment in strategy consulting, corporate finance, investment banking, sales operations, or other analytical/quantitative position
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, ability to assimilate and understand new concepts in short time frames
Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work across functions and levels of seniority
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid organizational skills and a high degree of comfort managing multiple assignments
Driven by intellectual curiosity and entrepreneurial can-do attitude
Advanced fluency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Experience in financial services and/or FinTech industry preferred, but not required
Impact You'll Make
The Market Strategy Consultant will assist in driving growth in the FinTech vertical for TransUnion’s international markets. You will part of a team focused on solving the data, analytic and technology needs of leading FinTechs around the world, fast-growing mid-stage startups, early-stage investments, investors, accelerators, and incubators. You will manage multiple projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand overall priorities, and set expectations through clear and frequent communication (verbal and written). Additionally, you will compile, analyze, synthesize, and summarize qualitative and quantitative information from internal and external sources to address specific business needs and problems.
How You’ll Contribute:
Develop a holistic, global view of the FinTech ecosystem that includes startups, investors, accelerators, incubators, and industry associations
Conduct market research to maintain an up-to-date view of the FinTech player map in key TransUnion markets around the world
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new solutions and/or new customer segments
Conduct client-specific research to support client engagement
Perform competitive assessment in key TransUnion markets
Manage the 3-year planning process for the FinTech vertical
Develop presentation materials for internal stakeholders
Create and manage sales and various financial dashboards
Partner with the Pricing team to develop FinTech pricing strategies
Partner with the Product team on new product development projects
