JOIN OUR TEAM
We're looking for an organized and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. Our Money team manages all corporate finance and accounting. You will be responsible for closing the books, improving our financial reporting and driving financial operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver with a can-do attitude, high integrity and natural curiosity and desire to learn.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Execute month-end close procedures
- Own of month-end close workpapers
- Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting
- Prepare and post of journal entries
- Support receivables, payables and payroll processes
- Proactively identify process improvement opportunities
- Assist with projects to drive down the cost of processing transactions
- Assist with monthly variance and change analysis along with actual vs budget reporting
- Ad hoc reporting
WHERE THIS ROLE MAY LEAD YOU
- Responsible for the accounting function end-to-end
- Drive financial planning, including forecasting, resource planning and cash optimization and supporting strategic decisions
- Bring in-house and building out tax strategy and compliance
Requirements
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- You have at least 2 years experience in an accounting or audit role
- You have post-high school education in accounting, finance or other relevant discipline
- You have thorough knowledge of GAAP
- You are an exceptional communicator
- You are organized and detail oriented
- You are comfortable working with data and/or have basic SQL knowledge
- You are proficient with Sage Intacct general ledger software and spreadsheets (Excel / G Sheets)
- PLUS: You have experience with software companies
