The Accounting team is growing rapidly and looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to join.

What your day could consist of:

• Ensure the accounting of commissions is in accordance with ASC 606. This will require working across departments (Sales/Internal Support) to ensure accounting and payroll requirements are timely, accurate and complete
• Perform month-end close procedures (Balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, roll forwards etc.)
• Financial Statement preparation including maintaining of disclosure checklist
• Work with Controller on company’s international and domestic tax requirements – sales tax, GST, VAT, payroll taxes, annual tax filings, etc.
• Handle special projects that may include process improvements, evaluation and/or assistance with the implementation of new software tools, or other ad-hoc requests
• Record and maintenance of quarterly software capitalization policy. This will require working with heads of the R&D departments
• Assist, implement and maintain new accounting guidance and updates
• Assist with the external and insurance audits.

What you'll need:

• Minimum education – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting and tax
• Relevant certification (e.g. CPA) preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently with a desire to continue to grow in your career
