What we are looking for:
We are looking for a self-starter, roll-up-your-sleeves, passionate Senior Manager of Finance to join a high-growth GovTech company. You will report to the Vice President of Finance, working closely with the executive leadership team and other business units' Finance teams, and will be responsible for owning and leading a variety of finance activities. You will have a particular focus on budgeting, forecasting, and KPIs.
Responsibilities:

  • Drive the monthly, quarterly and annual FP&A processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Own, structure, build, and maintain complex financial and decision-making models to develop meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for executive leadership and parent company (GTY).
  • Drive the development of reporting on KPIs to executive leadership and GTY. Provide insights into drivers of financial statements, as well as risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with executive leadership to prepare Board materials, earnings release metrics, presentations, and quarterly guidance.
  • Work closely with finance teams across GTY business units to build financial infrastructure to support GTY current and future financial business requirements. Determine system solutions to streamline reporting and automate internal processes across GTY.
  • Lead strategic projects and support executive leadership on ad hoc financial and operational analysis.
  • Over time, hire, manage, and mentor additional team members.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in f inance , accounting, or related field is required. MBA helpful, but not required.
  • A CPA or CFA designation is helpful but not required .
  • 6 + years of progressive experience in FP&A in a technology company , investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
  • Experience in an early stage or startup environment is helpful but not required.
  • Must be an Excel ninja.
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
  • Must be exceptionally detail oriented and conscientious with respect to work product.
  • Strong analytical / quantitative and communication skills and strong executive presence.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and manage relationships with executive partners.
