SpotMe Inc. is seeking motivated individuals with event, customer service, TCP/IP networking skills, and/or programming experience looking to build their career with a growing organization in a steady industry. Our Freelance Event Coordinators are a crucial technical support role and work both behind-the-scenes and client facing. A Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the production team leading up to events as well as for providing impeccable customer service onsite at events. Note that the travel can range from 20% - 90% depending on your skill level and our seasonal workload. And there's room for growth. While you will begin as Event Coordinator, if you perform well and show us your potential, you'll be invited to train for Event Producer.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing data for the pre-event app release
  • Helping participants install the app and answering questions they might have about the app
  • Making live updates of the app content
  • Assisting in the facilitation of live features both before the event (training speakers on how to facilitate Q&A for example), and behind stage (running live polling or manning a laptop that is showing a visualization on the big screen)
  • Coordinating inventory and ensure timely transport to additional locations
  • Proactively identifying problems and implement effective solutions
  • Achieving individual, team, and company goals and objectives
