Primary Responsibilities

The Campus Recruiter will provide specialized support in recruiting top students to join KeHE Internship and leadership development programs. The Campus Recruiter will provide comprehensive program management, logistic and administrative support, and strategic insights on university recruiting initiatives, and increasing the program's efficiency. The Campus Recruiter will serve as a champion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and will communicate with senior stakeholders and broader teams within the business to drive excellence in campus recruiting strategy.

 

The Campus Recruiter will also lead Project based initiatives with vendors.

Essential Functions

Campus work

  • Serve as key logistical contact for planning and execution of events on university college campuses in support of recruiting processes.
  • Drive coordination and logistical planning of campus recruiting events throughout the year (e.g. kick off meetings, career fairs on-campus presentations, on-campus interviews, pre-night events, office visits).
  • Establish role as point of contact for career services, student and professor community and other key internal campus recruiting teams.
  • Consistently communicates, consults and collaborates with all stakeholders and candidates.
  • Compiles resumes following application deadlines and distribute to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Owns data entry and tracking in multiple systems (e.g. applicant tracking system, excel spreadsheets, etc. where necessary) to manage candidate flow and pipeline development.
  • Distributes appropriate materials to various teams (resume, interview forms, agendas, event information, etc.) and participates as a project planner for all events, ensuring consistent messaging and planning is organized in advance.
  • Schedules and coordinates interviews amongst candidates, hiring managers and recruiters.
  • Creates detailed reports for executive, HR and proposal use. 
  • Makes travel arrangements for students and guests as needed for interviews or Student Leadership Conferences and other recruiting events as needed.
  • Advocates campus recruiting best practices and trends and expresses follow through in researching best in class campus recruiting strategy and programs.
  • Manages the intern program and leadership development program.
  • Plans and coordinates lunch and learns for Interns and leadership development program associates.
  • Point of contact for all Interns and leadership development program associates.

Project work

  • Works with project sponsors and the functional leaders to craft and confirm project objectives. 
  • Develops and articulates project plans and timelines through project charters and work plans. 
  • Mobilizes project teams; clearly articulates meaningful roles to each participant.  
  • Drives project execution through management of a timeline, deliverables, team accountability, issue, and risk management. 
  • Prepares and delivers status updates and business reviews to key internal stakeholders. 
  • Does a deep dive in understanding and validating customer needs, translates them into specific and actionable requirements, product roadmaps and project plans. 
  • Uses problem solving skills to logically structure ambiguous problems, identify sources of data, conducts analysis, extrapolates key insights and delivers recommendations. 
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and implement the approved recommendations. 
  • Where applicable, builds and executes change management plans. 
  • Effectively communicates throughout the project life-cycle and be an influential change champion. 
  • Builds relationships with the project sponsor and project team members.
  • Learns quickly, is proactive, and assumes ownership for broad tracks of work. 
  • Other transactional support as needed. 

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of campus recruiting experience with demonstrated experience in leading a team and designing campus programs.
  • Full cycle recruiting experience supporting business leaders by delivering recruitment solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic and people-centric business model.
  • Change agility and strong attention to detail in order to oversee multiple priorities, drive desired results and maintains business leadership and team satisfaction.
  • Outstanding time management, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills; with the ability to develop and cultivate relationships within all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess business needs and talent markets while developing and executing recruitment strategies, programs and tools that support of business objectives.
  • The willingness and ability to travel for campus visits, especially during busy seasons.
