Under general supervision, the Compensation Consultant leads project oriented work and conducts detailed analyses around equity. In addition, this person will have responsibility for coordinating compensation regulatory matters globally, and leading the regulatory compliance for North America, and managing the deferred compensation program.

1. Leads special projects that require thoughtful analyses, coordination with various groups, development of materials and presentations to leaders and appropriate members of Management Group

2. Responsible for incentive compensation regulatory compliance for North America including the determination of regulated roles in North America

3. Monitors changes to regulatory requirements and adapts the corporation's policies and procedures, if needed

4. Provide plan design and HRIS design guidance to ensure regulatory requirements are met

5. Ensure appropriate compensation governance, including effective oversight by the Board and record keeping requirements

6. Develop employee communications to facilitate the understanding of compensation regulatory requirements for relevant employees and their managers

7. General analytical support for the global equity and deferred compensation programs

8. Manages the Deferred Compensation plan, including coordination of annual open enrollment, vendor management and program administration

9. Assists in ensuring internal compliance for equity and deferred compensation programs and assist with all audit / compliance requirements for regulatory programs

10. Assists in the day-to-day administration of global equity program

11. Maintain equity and deferred compensation communications, training, and reference materials

12. Receives general direction and is competent to work at a high technical level on compensation issues.

13. Serves as a resource or go to person within a group.

14. Handles more extensive, high-profile work.

15. Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or management

16. Strategic in developing, implementing and administering HR programs within functional areas

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:• Requires strong analytical ability, strong judgment and communication skills, high level of organization and the ability to work effectively with clients, partners, HR leadership, and management. • A working knowledge in area of compensation and equity is a plus.

EXPERIENCE:• 5 to 7 years of working experience, 1 to 2 years of experience in Compliance is a plus. • BS or BA Degree required (concentration in Finance/Economics/HR preferred)• Intermediate proficiency in Excel• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills• Ability to keep information confidential, work independently and balance multiple priorities• Work effectively in a complex and fast paced environment• High attention to detail and sense of urgency• Must be organized and possess strong time and project management skills• Strong communication, client service and interpersonal skills
