The Opportunity:
OppLoans is seeking a recruiter to discover and connect with diverse candidates for our corporate functions -- Legal, Business Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Compliance. You will be responsible for attracting, finding, and hiring top talent as a true business partner to leaders across the company. You’ll build our selection and interview process from the ground up as an expert in best practices and inventive, cutting-edge hiring methods. You’ll also build, deliver, and scale interviewer training and have a passion for ensuring a best-in-industry candidate experience.
- Partner with our corporate functional leaders across the organization to develop a workforce planning strategy.
- Fill critical positions in Legal, Business Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Compliance with high performers in a timely fashion.
- Develop the employee value proposition that will attract talent to OppLoans.
- Partner with marketing and talent thought leaders to identify and drive attraction initiatives.
- Define an optimal recruiting strategy to engage passive candidates through sourcing messages and creative outreach.
- Create and execute a sourcing and partnership strategy to increase diversity in all of the corporate functions across the organization.
- Continuously and proactively build a candidate pipeline.
- Attend networking events, Meetups, and conferences to attract talent and stay connected with the market.
- Work collaboratively with hiring teams to create an inclusive interview process and advise on best practices.
- Proactively identify closing strategies for offers and provide candidates with the right information to help make their decision as easy as possible; provide an exceptionally positive candidate experience.
- Design and deliver OppLoans interviewer training across all functions.
- Organize and drive recruiting projects to completion while documenting the results and takeaways.
- Lead with a data-driven approach to assess pipeline quality, efficiency of the hiring process, and to engage in effective problem solving.
What you will bring to the team:
- 3-5 years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced company.
- Passion and experience with recruiting in finance, marketing, business operations, and legal.
- Proven results identifying passive candidates quickly and via creative recruiting strategies.
- Strong network within the Chicago talent community to identify relevant talent.
- Corporate culture-focused, bringing enthusiasm to the office and offering up creative, new ideas and programs.
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and projects.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience building and facilitating interviewer training.
- Strong attention to detail.
