The Opportunity: The Director, Recruiting reports to the Vice President, People & Change and will act as a true partner to the business to identify talent needs, develop strategies to scale our recruiting practice, and lead an experienced recruiting team as they work to bring exceptional and diverse talent to Litera. In our rapidly scaling company, the ability to drive results, while remaining agile and ability to change direction when needed will be important to the Director's success.

A Day in the Life:

  • Ensure talent metrics, including funnel, time to hire, and candidate experience are best in class for the industry.
  • Manage an experienced recruiting team, developing them across a variety of key skills including sourcing, relationship management, analytics and business acumen.
  • Build a diverse pipeline of candidates using creative sourcing channels.
  • Train, coach, and continuously develop hiring managers on the selling of the Litera brand.
  • Manage confidential and senior (e.g., VP) role openings (as needed).
  • Continuously innovate by identifying and embracing market trends, tools, and technologies.

Role progression:

Within 1 month, you will:

  • Complete our new hire orientation and continue with a r ole-based onboarding process.
  • Meet your team, join stand ups and establish a schedule for consistent 1:1s.
  • Learn the nuts and bolts of our business, and where we're going.
  • Review and familiarize yourself with the current end-to-end Recruiting process.
  • Familiarize yourself with Jobvite, our Applicant Tracking System, and particularly its analytics and Reporting functions.

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Begin to understand your team's performance, strengths, and areas for development.
  • Meet key Executive stakeholders and begin to understand their needs.
  • Understand the current end-to-end Recruiting process and begin to suggest and implement areas for improvement.
  • Pull reports and conduct analysis across key metrics including recommendations for improving outcomes and trends.

 Within 6 months, you will:

  • Routinely review and understand your team's performance, strengths, and areas for development.
  • Consistently pull a variety of key reports and conduct thorough analysis across key metrics including recommendations for improving outcomes and trends.
  • Prepare monthly Executive reports based on key metrics and trends and contributing t quarterly board-level reporting.
  • Support new recruiting efforts across newly integrated business units or organizations (M&A).
  • Continuously evolve current recruiting process to align with Diversity and Inclusion leading practices.
  • Lead the design, update, and delivery of Hiring Manager training/certifications across business units.

About You:

  • Strong operational experience in reporting and data analysis to drive strategy and achieve quarterly hiring goals.
  • Experience in managing large, business critical initiatives proven to impact the overall business.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills with the ability to present data to key Executives, establishing credibility and building trust with team and client groups.
  • Proven success leading, motivating and inspiring a seasoned team to achieve great results.
  • Ability to analyze and leverage data to accurately forecast and help team drive effective recruitment strategies.
  • Extensive experience managing confidential and executive-level role openings.
  • Experience with PE-backed companies, Enterprise SW, and/or Legal/Legal Tech.
