In support of our dynamic, fast-paced and high growth environment, The Early Career Talent Program Manager will manage all aspects of the campus hiring strategy and execution for proactively growing the necessary intern, entry-level and early career talent pipelines. You will build and nourish relationships with internal leaders to collaborate on strategic plans and achieve success metrics at target schools. You will also be a key contributor to the development and success of clinical training programs including externships, preceptorships, and residency programs for medical students. As our business evolves, so will our need for early career programming. Our ideal candidate is innovative, flexible, not afraid of trying new things, and passionate about early career programming and development. A can-do attitude, hands on approach and high degree of humility are requirements for assimilation into our highly collaborative and entrepreneurial culture.

How you can make a difference

While the role will be dynamic in nature, some key responsibilities of the Early Career Talent Program Manager include:

  • Collaborate with business leaders and other key stakeholders to determine and communicate campus recruitment/early career methodologies, including diversity strategies, school selection, pipeline programs, candidate management and hiring numbers
  • Design, manage and actively execute innovative programs and activities to support all campus recruiting efforts including outreach and partnerships with targeted programs and schools
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with career services, student organizations and faculty
  • Engage students through traditional and non-traditional methods on-campus and virtually
  • Leverage social media and employment branding to build awareness and engage with prospective candidates
  • Develop annual fall and spring recruiting schedules and ensuring appropriate organizational representation at all functions
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the interview and onboarding processes
  • Continuously evaluate targeted schools and programs based on our evolving business and talent needs
  • Evaluate success of recruiting season by preparing and analyzing statistics on overall results to identify areas for process and performance improvement
  • In partnership with the business, spearhead cultivation of university programs and campus recruitment including job shadowing, internships and possible development programs
  • Actively participate in Talent Acquisition and cross-functional/organizational project work
  • Draw on previous experience in the Talent Management space to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to advance and execute early career programs

Highly organized and detail oriented, you can manage multiple competing priorities while continuing to advance critical initiatives. You are self-assured and have a high tolerance for shifting priorities and can translate ambiguity into concrete results. You are adept with metrics and exhibit a proven history of using analytics to solve problems and develop innovative solutions. You are humble, but confident, with an ability to solicit trust through effective communication, and you have a strong reputation for accomplishing what you promise, despite challenges or obstacles.

Experience to drive change

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading campus recruitment efforts
  • Talent Acquisition experience with a focus on early talent pipeline, university relations, or campus recruiting experience a plus
  • Experience in a high-volume recruiting organization preferred
  • Strong project management, teamwork, execution and organizational skills
  • Excellent communicator - You're savvy at letting stakeholders know what they need to do and when they need to do it. You write clear, concise, easy to read communications and can comfortably present to leaders at all levels
  • Flexible work-style to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and manage last-minute changes with a strong sense of urgency
  • Demonstrates organizational agility and ability to work effectively, collaborate and influence across a multi-location organization
  • Inclined to think outside of the box in managing a quickly-evolving campus recruiting model
  • Strategic thinker with positive attitude manifested in a solutions-oriented approach
  • Ability to travel as needed (when travel is permitted)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
