Recruiter - contract or Full Time - Chicago, Tempe or Full Time Remote

Located in Chicago, Tempe or alternatively full time remote, the Northern Trust Recruiter will report to a Team Leader (Manager) and be responsible for sourcing talent, interviewing, and recommending placement of candidates for entry-level and/or experience managerial/professional positions.

Major Duties of the Recruiter include, but are not limited to:• Source, interview, and recommend placement of candidates to managers for experienced managerial/professional positions across our Corporate & Institutional Services business • Screen resumes and applications to evaluate the qualifications of applicants and identify potential candidates for employment• Work closely with hiring managers to develop job specifications and coordinate business unit interviews• Source candidates using online tools, employee referrals, manager referrals, candidate referrals, advertising, job fairs, college recruiting, and general inquiries/unsolicited resumes• Communicate job duties and responsibilities, compensation, work schedules, and working conditions to applicants• Build candidate pipelines• Sell Northern Trust as an employer of choice to candidates and assist in equipping managers to do likewise• Negotiate salaries, signing bonuses, and relocation packages with qualified applicants and educate managers on these issues• Maintain relationships with different recruiting partners including colleges and third-party recruitment firms• Handle all types of recruitment analysis and propose appropriate action• Work on assigned projects and learn project management skills"

"Required Knowledge/Skills• Ability to facilitate discussions and enable hiring managers to make decisions• Strong analytical, critical thinking ability, and strong judgement• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Exceptional consulting and advisory skills• High interest in corporate recruiting within the financial services industry

Preferred Knowledge/Skills• Strong systems skills, particularly with applicant tracking systems like Taleo and networking/sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter

Required Experience• Prior recruiting experience gained from another corporation or staffing agency • Experience in client servicing and relationship building

Preferred Experience• A college or university degree

o Specialization in Human Resources and/or other Business-related field highly preferred"
