ThinkMarkets is seeking a dynamic Head of Talent Acquisition to join our growing Global HR team in Chicago! The ideal candidate is someone whose passion lies in finding exceptionally talented individuals using a data-driven analytical process. This role is critical in building our core technology teams and growth plans for our global offices.

 

In this role, you will be joining a collaborative, innovative, and global team, working closely with leadership to scale the company and develop exceptional hiring strategies. You will lead our team of recruiters to ensure consistency and monitor effective execution of diverse hiring best practices, all while providing a professional and welcoming candidate experience. The Head of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for creating a robust and innovative talent acquisition plan to continue shaping and reinforcing ThinkMarkets’ employee base.
 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute an exceptional talent acquisition strategy to help with dynamic growth
  • Stay abreast of market trends in quantitative trading, FinTech, and HR/Recruitment to improve and innovate our talent management process
  • Create and drive powerful and innovative sourcing strategies to proactively reach new and diverse talent
  • Manage a global team of recruiters and coach them to proactively build a pipeline of high-caliber, diverse, and well-qualified talent in addition to collaborating with internal teams to execute unique sourcing initiatives
  • Track and maintain KPIs across regions and departments related to diverse hiring (e.g. diverse slates, panels etc.) in partnership with HR, Compliance and Global Talent & Diversity
  • Responsible for partnering with key recruitment, diversity, and business partners to create and implement business unit recruiting initiatives
  • Increase awareness of our employer brand to enable us to reach a higher caliber of talent through job postings, strategic outreach, articles, and networking

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Human Resources, or related field
  • 7+ years of proven work experience as a hands-on recruiting leader with a focus on hiring and developing teams in quantitative trading, FinTech, and Engineering
  • Proven ability to think strategically, translate strategies into actionable plans, develop performance metrics, and analyze results
  • Strong team leadership, team building, and mentoring skills to grow the talent acquisition team globally
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multitask a variety of tasks and projects with quickly evolving hiring requirements
  • Familiarity with ATS and HRIS such as Greenhouse and BambooHR
  • Proven ability to grow and scale a global technology recruiting team
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently as part of a leadership team
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-management skills demonstrating cross-cultural and regional understanding and knowledge
