Become an HR Generalist with a fast-growing FinTech company, where brilliant minds come together to help local restaurants grow, while partnering with some of the biggest loyalty programs in the world. The People Team at Rewards Network is looking for a Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the champion of our onboarding process, administer our HRIS system, review data and create analytics to support our hiring, recruitment, and benefit initiatives. You will coordinate a range of communications, benefits, and programs, and provide overall support to the People function. This role will work closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to support new hire onboarding and continually identify opportunities for improvement and enrichment of the RN employee experience.

 

To succeed in our fast-paced environment, you will need to possess strong analytical and prioritization skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and troubleshoot and solve problems proactively. This role will be remote for the near-term and will have expectations to be regularly present in an office environment once we determine it is appropriate to return to the office.

What you’ll do with us:

  • Facilitate of new hire onboarding, ensuring new hire information is accurate and employees receive a robust and effective onboarding experience.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Team with pre-boarding steps, including monitoring completion of background checks, assisting new employees, and the management of our onboarding platform and related system integrations.
  • Own HRIS data management, including entering data, reporting, monitoring employee data changes, assisting employees, and ensuring the system is updated and utilized effectively.
  • Analyze data and prepares reports or other materials that provide insight into turnover, exit interview feedback, and other people trends.
  • Manage benefits administration, leave of absence process, and other people programs or processes; assist employees with questions and ensure compliance.
  • Manage relationships with external benefit, recruitment and other vendors and ensure employee questions or concerns are addressed.
  • Coordinate and draft people team communications and newsletters by partnering with colleagues on the people team and facilitating communications across other groups.
  • Create and maintain digital files for all employees and ensuring i9 compliance; manages electronic signature and collection of people related documents.
  • Update and maintain organizational charts, vendor contact lists, and other documents.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience supporting a Human Resource department or function, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience leveraging HR systems, working with benefit providers, and supporting a range of employee requests and inquiries.
  • General knowledge of HR functions including benefits, payroll, leave of absence, and HR programs
  • Knowledge of working with HR processes and procedures is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables), PowerPoint, Outlook & Visio.
  • Exposure to ADP’s Workforce Now product is preferred
  • Extremely detail oriented, able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently, follow up as necessary and respond promptly to changing needs and priorities while maintaining a positive demeanor with a polished verbal communication style.
  • This role requires individuals to use sound judgment with working independently and possess strong collaboration interdepartmentally while ensuring the strictest of confidence with employee information.
  • Preferred experience validating billing/invoices with vendors and coordinating with Accounts Payable
