HR Learning & Engagement Specialists are responsible for:

  • This position will identify and coordinate the delivery of content offerings through the company's Relias (LMS) system.
  • Create Engagement strategy for the organization, including the participation in an annual employee engagement survey and the development of engagement initiatives that support business objectives.
  • Lead the company-wide rollout of the annual employee engagement survey as well as any required pulse surveys.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to conduct employee focus groups and develop engagement initiatives that will foster a culture that values and takes action on employee feedback.
  • Develop and publish curriculum for managers and employees on relevant business topics each year.
  • Administer the company’s tuition reimbursement program.
  • Develop and generate monthly reports for leaders to help monitor progress on the company’s engagement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Six to eight years working experience in the areas of Learning and Development and/or Engagement
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Ability to think critically and use creativity to address engagement and learning needs of the Organization.
  • Ability to create a strategic plan and an equal ability to develop and deliver the operational components of that plan.
  • Working knowledge of Learning management systems

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate with others by speaking and making presentations to groups or individuals and responding to telephone calls. Ability to create written communication including letters, memos, newsletters and the like for distribution to individuals inside and outside the organization.
  • Ability to develop curriculum in a way that is engaging to the learner.
  • Visual acuity to proofread, check and verify data and text from printed form and computer display.
  • Ability to extract data from systems, analyze information and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to travel by car, train or airplane for up to 15% of work time to visit Gateway programs located in various states and in correctional institutions; to participate in merger and acquisition activities and to implement new programs.
