As a young yet evolving company, we’ve grown a robust HR department with dedicated resources for each line of business; yet there are still plenty of ways to impact, change, or improve how our team works.

 

As a part of our HR Shared Services team, you will work closely with the rest of HR and are responsible for responding to all incoming queries from employees, managers, HR team members, and former employees. We are a valued resource with a wide array of knowledge of the organization and are seen as the face of the HR department. You will also focus on training and special projects that continue to evolve and improve our HR organization.

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • You will triage inquiries pertaining to HR in an accurate and timely manner utilizing internal resources such as Zendesk, email, phone calls, chat, etc.

  • You will research and resolve complex issues by partnering across the HR organization and globe

  • You will provide solutions to employees and education on self-service options available

  • Maintain documentation of all incoming requests and keep detailed records on actions taken

  • Complete transactional HR processes using Workday

  • Meet expectations as identified by HR Management, which may include timeliness, accuracy, quality, tone, error-rate, etc.

  • Maintain a general understanding of policy and procedure and ability to help others navigate these

  • As part of the lift and shift of activities to the team, some project work will be required. You should be able to own and deliver on projects, looking for continuous improvement opportunities via streamlining and automation

  • May handle requests related to benefits, vendor management, unemployment, internal transfers, immigration, relocation, onboarding, HR website maintenance, reporting, and training

 

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • Previous experience in shared service environment and/or human resource experience a plus

  • Experience with HRIS systems a plus; Workday a strong plus

  • Skilled in Google Suite (Docs, Calendar, Sheets, Mail)

  • You are able to understand and explain situations and solutions, be it on the phone, in email or in person.

  • You have a passion for the experience you provide your customers - and can diffuse even high-tension situations with ease

  • You know that the details matter and a demonstrable ability to multitask

  • You're adaptable and can think on your feet; when faced with new challenges or tough conversations, you face them head-on
