HRIS Specialist
The HRIS Specialist will assist with HRIS system maintenance and HR data integrity. This individual works under the supervision of the HRIS Manager, leveraging the HRIS systems to support business needs. Additionally, the HRIS Specialist troubleshoots data integrity issues and recommends solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Partners with HRIS Manager and Analyst to test and implement new features and products in HRIS systems, improving business functions and employee engagement
- Maintains and improves HRIS Systems, including but not limited to UltiPro/UKG, Greenhouse, Employee File Management (EFM) and Employee Case Management (HR Assist) systems
- Assists with creation of documentation supporting current and proposed processes, ensuring compliance with best practices
- Responds to employee benefits questions and resolves employee coverage inquiries via Benefits Prime and HR Assist tool
- Responsible for monitoring weekly EDI feeds from vendors and responding to any errors that occur
- Completes weekly processing of EOI files from our Disability and Life vendor, following up with employees when needed
- Reconciles monthly invoices from benefits vendors against employee elections in Benefits Prime
- Administers benefits billing for employees on leave of absence in partnership with Payroll team
- Monitors HRIS inbox for UltiPro error reports and creates and assigns HR Assist cases to HR team for corrections
- Triage HR Assist cases; assigning to appropriate HR team members for follow up and response
- Ensures employee file compliance by conducting routine audits on the creation and completion of new hire files in EFM system
- Assists HRIS Manager with the processing of ad-hoc documents in EFM platform
- Maintains and updates proper security settings for all HRIS system end-users, including access to vendor platforms
- Conducts quarterly audits of employee and administrator access to all HRIS and vendor systems
- Conducts planned and ad-hoc audits to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley standards
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
- Entry level; 1+ years of experience in HRIS systems preferred
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
- Experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with highly sensitive information
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities that requires strong organizational skills
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and create improved processes for efficiency
- Change agent driving best practices and supports innovate thinking
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (pivot tables and v-lookups a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
